Inspired by the legacy of legendary close-up magician Dai Vernon, the Dai Vernon Foundation is the nation's only nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization providing direct support to magicians in financial hardship, and educational grants to young magicians honing their craft.
Founded in 1992, shortly after the passing of Dai Vernon, the Dai Vernon Foundation has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to the magic community and helped numerous magicians across the country who face financial crises due to medical costs, natural disasters and other unexpected hardships. In the spirit of Dai Vernon himself, we also nurture promising young performers, providing full scholarships to a week-long, life changing experience at Tannen’s Magic Camp, where these young magicians learn from magic’s best and brightest. Every donation is an important part of this enduring mission.
