DVF Emergency Relief Funds
Recognizing the devastation the Coronavirus has affected our fellow magicians, performers and the employees and staff of the AMA, the Dai Vernon Foundation has created the Emergency Magic Relief Fund and the AMA Employee Fund.
May 2021 Update
- The AMA Employee Fund is now closed and we are no longer accepting applications. The Board of the DVF would like to thank everyone who donated to the employee fund for their generosity. This kindness allowed us to award over 100 grants totaling $34,700 to AMA Employees.
- The Emergency Magic Relief Fund is still accepting applications, see details below.
- The Variety Artists Relief Fund is now open.

Emergency Magic Relief Fund
The DVF is providing assistance in this time of trouble. If you live in the US, and have been impacted by Covid 19, AND are either A) a professional magician (for 3 or more years), or B) a variety performer who is both a professional entertainer and has performed at the Magic Castle in the past three years, assistance is available.
Variety Artists Relief Fund
The Dai Vernon Foundation, with special thanks to Brookledge Cares, and with generous donations from the Jack Oakie Foundation, the Larsens, and the Pitchford Family, has created a fund to provide assistance to professional performers in this time of trouble. If you live in the US, have been impacted by Covid 19, AND are a professional Variety Performer (for 3 or more years) assistance is available
